About Love Laos
My name is Lee I have been living in the region for over 20 years, working predominantly in the tourism sector. I have a passion for responsible tourism and sharing the places I love with others – and Laos is certainly one of those places.
Surrounded by better known destinations, Lao PDR as it is also known, faces an uphill battle to compete for attention and many people are generally unaware of the amazing opportunities on offer for the tourist looking for something a little different. As the world is emerging from the Covid-19 pandemic, this site is my attempt to help change that a little.
While short on beaches, Laos does have a lot to offer. Especially for travellers who love the outdoors, are inspired to learn more about different cultures, and enjoy the laidback pace of life that Laos is famous for. Whether it is a passion for food, culture, adventure or nature – a holiday here can be life-changing and open up a whole new world.
