This annual event is the biggest music festival in Laos, attracting thousands of music lovers from all over the world. The festival features local and international artists, DJs, and bands, who perform on two stages set against the stunning backdrop of the mountains and the river.
The Vang Vieng Music Festival was first created in 2015 and has since grown bigger and bigger every year, and in 2023 it is likely to feature more than 50 artists. The 2023 event will have a variety of food and drink stalls, souvenir shops, and camping facilities, to cater to the needs and preferences of the festival-goers.
