The X-Race in Vang Vieng

The year, the X-Race in Vang Vieng wil be held on the 13th August and registrations are now open.  The 2023 X-Race offers four different events so there is something for everyone.

The 5km Fun Run

The 5km fun run is open to everyone and doesn’t contain any of the obstacles that you will find in the longer races.  Entry fee is THB 700 with registration details below.

The 7km Sprint

Throughout the 7km run, you will be challenged by a series of 10 obstacles that all participants must complete.  If for any reason you cannot complete and obstacle, a 40 jumping squat fine will be imposed before you are allowed to continue.  Entry fee is THB 1,500 and there are cash prizes available for the top 3 finishers.

The 12km Hercules

Over this 12km course, there are 22 obstacles that need to be over come.  As with the 7km sprint, if you are unable to complete any, a 40 jumping squat fine will be required before moving on.  Entry fee is THB 2,500 with cash prizes available for the fastest 3 finishers.

The 30km Cross X All Terrain

The 30km Cross X All Terrain doesn’t have the additional obstacles of the shorter races, but does contain plenty of nature’s best challenges on this cross-country run.  Entry fee is THB 2,500 with cash prizes for the top 3 finishers.

X-Race Registration and Details

Accommodation and Things to Do in Vang Vieng
